For over a decade, Nathan has been teaching courses in Communication, ESL, and English. He’s taught abroad for many years in Southeast Asia, and both onsite and online for a number of different colleges within the US. Growing up in the Midwest, Nathan earned his degrees from the College of Saint Scholastica (B.A., Communication) and North Dakota State University (M.A, Speech Communication). He believes education is a form of empowerment that affords individuals an opportunity to positively influence the world around them, whether at home, in their neighborhood or workplace, or in online environments!

When not in the classroom, he’s either out getting lost by bike or by foot around Minnesota or at home reading with his two daughters: Nora (6 years old) and Sophia (4 years old).
