Student & Alumni Stories

Unity felt like a 21st-century university. It’s fast, accessible, technologically streamlined, and flexible, while still providing a rigorous academic experience.

I liked to get my hands dirty as opposed to learning theory. That theory is important, but I’d rather put it into practice.

"Unity gave me everything I needed to get here, and now I'm taking it into the world."

"My time at Unity has broadened my knowledge and expertise to work on real-life scenarios that I can replicate in the field."

“Field research leaves me feeling inspired, excited about the future, and more connected to the beautiful planet we live on.”

"You will get challenged. It's not like they're just online. It almost feels like they're right there."

“Through my studies at Unity, I’ve learned how important it is to turn science into action.”

"I chose Unity because of its strong emphasis on applied, sustainability-focused education and its flexibility in allowing students to design capstone projects that align with their professional goals."

“Pursuing marine biology has been the best decision I have ever made.”

"I have always had a love and passion for animals and knew that I wanted to work with them. Unity’s fully online master’s program caught my eye because I could do it from home and still work and grow my family."

"Unity doesn't just deliver education; it delivers belief. The flexibility is life-changing, but the support and personal connection are what make it special. The courses inspire you, the faculty uplift you, and the structure lets real-life students actually succeed. Unity meets you where you are, then walks with you to where you're headed."

"My educational experience at Unity is designed to produce a candidate who is fully trained, fully certified, and ready to enter the workforce on Day One."
