Mulubrhan Gebremikael has a PhD in animal nutrition with over 15 years of experience in research, teaching, project management, outreach, and business development in climate-resilient livestock technologies globally. He has successfully implemented multi-national climate-smart livestock projects and has extensive experience in research publications, policy advocacy, and strategic development. Mulubrhan’s work has focused on disseminating climate-resilient agroforestry/ silvopastoral livestock systems in Africa and the USA, leading to widespread adoption of silvopastures in drylands of Eastern Africa. He has received multiple awards for his contributions to research, project management, and leadership, including a 2022 Superior Accomplishment award from the University of Florida and 2016 Best Scientists Award by Ethiopian Ministry of Science and Technology.
