FY 24–25 Institutional Highlights: Unity Environmental University
Unity Environmental University achieved major milestones in fiscal year 2024–2025, reinforcing its position as a national leader in accessible, career-focused higher education:
- Unity at Pineland officially launched, expanding the University’s physical campus network and providing new opportunities for experiential learning in southern Maine.
- Undergraduate tuition was frozen through 2030, ensuring long-term affordability and financial predictability for students and families.
- The minimum annual salary for full-time employees based in Maine increased to $50,000, strengthening Unity’s commitment to workforce equity and regional economic impact.
- Unity ranked in the top 2% nationally on the 2024 Social Mobility Index, and was recognized as No. 1 in Maine for the second consecutive year, exemplifying the University’s continued success in advancing social and economic mobility.
- The University served 10,391 unique undergraduate and graduate students across all delivery modalities, representing a more than 1,000% increase from the 643 students enrolled in 2015, the year of Unity’s 50th anniversary.
