Masters Degree in Canine Life Science
Amanda Cowden holds a Masters Degree in Canine Life Science from Bergin University of Canine Studies. She currently trains Service Dogs for veterans and First Responders with a focus on PTSD relief, mobility work, and MST (Military Sexual Trauma). In her studies, she became interested in Animal Behavior and the capabilities for animals to learn new tasks and concepts. Amanda currently lives in the Greater Sacramento Region of California, where she moved with her husband from Southern California for a quieter life. Amanda has owned a variety of animals and has trained even more. From fish to Guinea Pigs, rats, pigs, goats, dogs, cats, local birds, etc, she believes there is always something to teach and always a way to allow animals and humans to learn.
