Credentials
Doctorate in clinical psychology
My name is Dr. Tony Schellenberger, but I welcome you to address me as Dr. Tony. I have an earned doctorate in clinical psychology from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, FL. I spend my professional time teaching at a few colleges and universities around the U.S. I live in Southern Indiana but have also lived in Florida and California. Much of my clinical work life was spent working with college students on the Autism Spectrum. I enjoy all aspects of psychology and utilize a cognitive-behavioral theoretical framework as my preferred theory of understanding human behavior.
I have the fortune of sharing my home with my rescued American Staffordshire Terrier (Pitbull) named Keena. She will be 10 years old this September and is the best buddy I could have ever asked for. I love teaching college-level psychology courses and have been a professional lecturer for the last 12 years. While online learning can have its challenges, I enjoy this style of teaching and it is my goal to provide you all with a friendly and welcoming learning environment. Always know that I am just an email away and I work very hard to respond quickly to emails. I hope you will find the content of our course to be interesting and I look forward to our time together.
