As the first phase of Stratus rolled out, we began introducing new functionalities in specific functional areas, along with additional enhancements across the system.
We are currently in the process of rolling out additional enhancements in Stratus that address five key areas:
- Student Information System to streamline student data management
- Career Services to provide resources and support for students’ career development
- Development to focus on fundraising and alumni relations
- CRM Analytics to provide valuable insights into customer relationships
- Events Management to simplify the planning and execution of university events
Stratus scales effortlessly, catering to diverse business units while maintaining data consistency. Customization options empower each team to tailor their practices. The integrated data stream improves the quality and transparency of information used by different parts of the organization.

Goal: Extend capabilities to connect and customize
Configuring the platform for automation
We continue to configure Salesforce Education Cloud. This includes particular emphasis on the CRM Analytics (CRMA) and Experience Cloud products, as well as including other components common to Salesforce Industry Clouds.
This work also addresses installing other paid and open-source applications to support our customization.
Career Hub
We are creating a Career Hub hosted in Stratus that will replace the Handshake product currently in use.
The career hub will serve as a point of convergence for students to explore job opportunities, connect with professionals, and access valuable career resources.
Students will be able to message recruiters, alumni, and other professionals to gain insights, ask questions, and build relationships.
They will also view and join career-related events, workshops, and networking sessions. Career surveys and internship processes will be managed using new workflows built in Stratus.
These events will provide opportunities to learn from industry experts, connect with potential employers, and enhance job search skills.
University development
The new modules will also streamline gift processing, enhance donor relationships, and simplify grant management.
We will store detailed information about donors, including contact details, giving history, and preferences and thereby replace our current solution, DonorPerfect.
Acknowledgment emails or letters to thank donors for their contributions will be managed in Stratus. Similarly, Stratus will manage the grant application process, including deadlines, submission status, and required documents.
Ultimately, the data associated with all of these processes will be actionable in order to provide insights regarding metrics such as fundraising performance, donor retention, campaign effectiveness, and grant writing success rates.
These insights will be supplemented by CRM Analytics, which is providing census snapshots and custom reporting for recruitment activities.
