P.h.D. in Educational Leadership at Nova Southeastern University
Dr. Richard Williams has been a Professor of Mathematics for more than twenty-years. He brings a wealth of knowledge to Unity College and is always prepared to assist his students to help them better understand College Algebra or MATH 101.
Dr. Williams is originally from South Jersey but has been residing in South Florida for more than thirty years. Dr. Williams began his career in education as a high school Mathematics teacher at Miami Jackson Senior High in Miami- Dade County. He taught Algebra I, Speech, Drama and in the Adult Education program. Dr. Williams was a high school administrator for sixteen years with the last twelve being served in Palm Beach County.
Dr. Williams received a B.S. (Telecommunications) at Morgan State University in Baltimore, Md., M.S. (Educational Leadership) and a minor in Mathematics as well as his Doctorate (Educational Leadership) at Nova Southeastern University. He is active in many community activities such as the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. (Chi Tau Chapter), New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, Florida East Coast Baptist Association (Assistant Dean), Palm Beach County School Administrators’ Association, Morgan State University Alumni Association – Life Membership, National Notary Public Association, Abraham S. Fischler School of Education Advisory Board (Nova Southeastern University Palm Beach County)
In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his two sons playing board and card games as well as watching movies.
