Dr. Becky Mathers (“Becky”) holds a Bachelor of Science in Earth Sciences from Penn State University, a Master of Science in Ecological Teaching & Learning from Lesley University, and a doctorate in environmental studies from Antioch University New England. Her dissertation research explored how profound experiences in nature can result in lasting changes to an individual’s view of or relationship with the natural world. Becky has a decade of experience teaching college courses in a range of disciplines, including environmental science, ecology, oceanography, natural resources, principles of sustainability, and science education service-learning.

The natural world is Becky’s passion! She loves spending time outside exploring and learning. She also enjoys reading, working out, yoga, and spending time with her family.
