Ms. Cara Griffin is an Instructor of Professional Skills at Unity College. She received an M.P.A. and B.S. in Public Administration with a minor in Law & Society from Missouri State University. Mrs. Griffin holds a SHRM-CP, Certified Human Resources Professional Certification, and has over ten years of experience working in local government & human resources. She also teaches Political Science and American Government at a college in southwest Missouri. In addition to teaching, Mrs. Griffin Co-Sponsors a successful student organization dedicated to being nonpartisan, fostering civility & professionalism, and promoting political literacy in communities. Her research interests include public sector human resource management, comparative public administration, and fostering civil discourse. Mrs. Griffin is an excellent teacher with a vibrant & positive attitude, a holistic approach to education, and a student-centered teaching style.
