Danielle Burton
Danielle E. Burton is a counselor in the Greater New Orleans area experienced with the treatment of incarcerated clientele, mandated clientele, and clients with brain injuries. Burton has worked in inpatient, outpatient, and school settings engaging humanistic treatment modalities in the treatment of a wide range of diagnoses. Additionally, Burton’s professional interests are expanded by coursework and certification in program evaluation and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in the workplace. Burton is also a doctoral candidate studying Counselor Education and Supervision. Her research interests include multiculturalism, womanism, culturally relevant pedagogy, and advancements in counselor education.
