Edwin A. Mariano attended The City University of New York (CUNY) at Hunter College. He double majored in Spanish and French languages and literatures. In 2008, he received a master’s degree in teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from the Ruth Ammon Graduate School of Education at Adelphi University in New York. The study of the Spanish and French linguistic expansion, as well as their coexistence along with the many other languages in the Americas, are his special themes of interest and research.
