Jeannie Miller Martin completed her B.S. at Juniata College, her Master’s in Zoology in the Global Field Program at Miami University of Ohio, and her PhD from the University of the Cumberlands. She managed sea turtle nesting research programs in several states and abroad prior to joining the Georgia Sea Turtle Center team where she spent time working in all aspects of sea turtle rehabilitation, research, and education. She was recognized by the International Sea Turtle Society as an International Sea Turtle Conservation Champion for her work in and contributions to the field of sea turtle conservation.
