Leah Becton is an adjunct Spanish instructor at Unity Environmental University. She received her MA in Spanish from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, and an MA in Comparative Literature from the University of Cambridge. Leah lives in Denver, CO where she teaches Spanish at the University of Denver and English Composition at the Community College of Denver. During her summers, Leah is often leading study abroad programs throughout South America sharing her passion for community-based learning with her students. Leah is a passionate and dedicated instructor who strives to make language acquisition accessible, relevant, and exciting for all students. She is excited to be a part of the Unity Environmental community and to join students on their multilingual journeys!
