Nathaniel Saul is an assistant professor of hospitality and tourism management at a private university in Busan, South Korea, where he teaches undergraduate courses in strategic management, sustainable tourism, and hospitality marketing. He graduated in 2018 with an M.S. in International Sustainable Tourism from a program offered jointly through the University of North Texas and the Centro Agronómico Tropical de Investigación y Enseñanza (CATIE) in Turrialba, Costa Rica. Site visits in Costa Rica afforded him the opportunity to witness firsthand the challenges that ecotourism businesses and rural communities face as they pursue more sustainable operations. When not in the classroom, Nathaniel can usually be found in his happy place- hiking and exploring the many beautiful mountains of Korea!
