Robert Wachtel is an adjunct instructor in the Mathematics Department at Unity College. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Eastern Illinois University and a Master of Science in Mathematics from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. During his graduate studies, Robert specialized in Statistics and Operations Research and was the recipient of the A.O. Lindstrom Award for outstanding research in his field. His Master’s Thesis focused on the Reliability of Repairable Components. With over 20 years of classroom experience, Robert’s passion and enthusiasm for education are stronger than ever. When not in the classroom, Robert enjoys reading, golfing, and spending time with his family.
