Unity College is an independent not-for-profit educational institution founded in 1965. It was the first institution of higher education in the nation to divest from fossil fuel investments in 2012, and its curriculum is anchored in sustainability science and experiential learning. Through its academic Sustainable Education Business Units (SEBUs) it grants associate, bachelor’s and master’s degrees.

Unity College is built on the Enterprise Model and is comprised of three Sustainable Education Business Units (SEBUs).  Two SEBUs focus on academics and the third is a group of individual revenue generating businesses which are the real-world manifestation of our curriculum.

Our academic SEBUs include Distance Education which provides a strictly online education, and Hybrid Learning offers students online or face to face learning with a residential experience.
