On Friday, December 14, Unity College will see 35 undergraduate students, 13 master’s students, and two certificate recipients off as the newest graduates of America’s Environmental College. The ceremony culminating the fall semester will begin at 6:30 p.m. in Tozier Gymnasium. Anyone not able to attend is invited to watch the ceremony via Facebook Live.

“It’s always a wonderful feeling for me, to look out during commencement and see our students who are ready and eager to take the next step as environmental leaders,” said Unity College President Dr. Melik Peter Khoury. “And I know for a fact that they are prepared, because throughout their time here at Unity College, they’ve been gaining real-world experience. The graduates on Friday have internship experience with the Maine Marine Patrol, Mount Rainier National Park in Washington state, a trail crew in Alaska, and monitoring bats in the White Mountains. I can’t wait to see where they go from here.”

Unity College sets commencement exercises every fall and spring. Spring commencement is scheduled for May 11, 2019.
