Unity Magazine 2020

December 8, 2020

Greetings!

Each year, Unity College publishes an institutional magazine called Unity which addresses new initiatives within the College, environmental topics, issues, and other new and noteworthy items. The magazine also includes an alumni notes section. I invite you to read the Unity Magazine 2020, which focuses on Unity College’s Path Forward and many of the exciting initiatives happening to make Unity College more accessible to a growing number of audiences.

Unity Magazine 2020Within these pages you will find in-depth articles about the innovative ways in which Hybrid Learning has engaged students remotely in response to COVID-19, the College’s record-breaking enrollment this year with Distance Education, highlights from some recent student internships, and more.

I hope you’ll share this magazine within your networks and let folks know about the great work happening at your alma mater. Unity College is revolutionizing the way our environmental and sustainability science curriculum is delivered to make it more affordable, flexible and accessible.

As Unity College alumni, you know first-hand the value of a Unity College degree. The skills and knowledge you gained as you completed your degree prepared you for a career where you could have an impact on conservation, sustainability, and protecting our planet’s resources.

Is it our goal to be able to offer a Unity College education to more students than ever before, at a time when our planet desperately needs more alumni from America’s Environmental College. With a variety of course options including in-person, when it is safe to do so, as well as remote, online, and through the use of extended reality technologies, we aim to meet the needs of students from all walks of life who are interested in learning from us.

Much has happened during this challenging year, and we are glad to finish up 2020 from a position of strength, ready to continue on our Path Forward as we move into 2021. As always, please contact us at development@unity.edu, with any questions or comments you may have.

In Unity,

Dr. Melik Peter Khoury
President
