Unity College is more than a higher education institution. We offer outdoor escapes, event facilities, green products, and learning opportunities for everyone.
Explore Sky Lodge, a historic hunting resort and campus on more than 150 acres in northern Maine. Plan a getaway to one of our rustic cabins. Rent a snowmobile and trek through our sweeping trails. In the summer, go on a guided fly-fishing trip. Sky Lodge offers outdoor activities for every interest.
We also operate the McKay Farm and Research Station—a working farm with five greenhouses. Shop for plants, rent greenhouse space, or buy sustainably grown produce.
And in Unity, Maine, you can enroll in summer and travel courses, book space for meetings and retreats, or simply explore.

Enjoy adventure year-round at Sky Lodge. In the winter, rent a snowmobile or bring your cross-country skis to explore our trails. In the summer, go golfing, biking, fishing, canoeing, or whitewater rafting.
Plan your family reunion or conference here. We have ample indoor meeting and event space, plus a ropes course and climbing wall for team building.
Once you’re done making the most of the day, come back to the Lodge for a campfire, cocoa, and s’mores or a meal at our Mountain View Dining Room.

Take a summer or travel course
If you’d rather immerse yourself in a guided experience, we offer a summer classes open to the public.
Teenagers interested in a career in conservation law enforcement—think game warden, wildlife agent, marine patrol—can check out our Warden Camp, held in August. Campers explore career opportunities while learning search and rescue, wildlife and fisheries identification, crime scene investigation, and other essential skills.
If you like to travel while learning, consider a signature or travel course. These courses range from local excursions to international research trips. They are open to anyone interested in learning something new.
