The environment and our natural resources are at the forefront of all we do, let us be your destination for your next event. Tucked into Maine’s northwest timber country and along the Quebec border, Unity’s 150 acre Sky Lodge campus allows is outdoor adventure enthusiasts to enjoy life’s simple pleasures. Located along the Old Canada Road (Route 201) National Scenic Byway, Unity Sky Lodge is easily accessible for your next group gathering.


Main Lodge Rental


Enjoy a stay in Maine’s largest and most famous home of logs. Way above the valley amongst a background of spruce and firs stands Sky Lodge. The structure sits high on the hillside overlooking Big Wood Lake and the entire Jackman bowl. It has been said, it is “truly one of the most gorgeous views in the State of Maine.” Built in 1929 by one of Maine’s most popular, Felix Arnold Burton, you and your guests will enjoy the rustic charm of spruce logs from Burnt Jacket Mountain strategically placed upon a foundation of natural fieldstone stone.

The lodge measures 125 feet long and 75 feet wide with 9 rooms interior guests’ rooms and 3 adjacent to the lodge all with private bath access. In the great room you are greeted with cathedral ceilings, exposed beams, and two bow shaped staircases as our welcoming arms to you.

Originally called the “Maw Paw Lodge,” the main lodge offers a library lounge, two dining spaces each with capacity for approximately 20-25 guests, an open space for yoga or dancing, and  adjacent deck space with scenic views of the valley. Capacity for indoor events is limited to 50 guests.
